Situated at the far end of Kållandsö, 20 kilometres from the city of Lidköping, Läckö Castle is one of Western Sweden's greatest tourist attractions. The castle is located 160 kilometres from Gothenburg/Göteborg from which the local "Kinnekulle" train departs a few times everyday. If you are travelling by train from Stockholm you can change to a bus for Lidköping in Skövde. From Lidköping you can find buses for the castle. On opera nights there is a bus scheduled to match the castle performances, both there and back.
