Enjoy the abundance of the baroque as the master
and mistress invites you to a party!

The aristocracy invites you to a party of extravagance and abundance.
Heavy garland hang from the ceiling. The table is set with a pressed
linen tablecloth, glasses, silverware, East Indian chinaware, shining
tin and artistically arranged napkins. Drinks will parade among silverware,
glazed pottery, East Indian chinaware and glass goblets on the sideboard
by the wall. The dessert is weighed down by the beautiful arranged
sweets, which are the climax of the party. The dinner set-up in the
Trojan hall represents the second course in a meal consisting of three
sittings each comprising 21 dishes!

Everyday people
Läckö Mansion during the days of the count, reminded of
a large corporation with all its different departments. There was
a military crew, castle crew, a stable crew and a barn crew, which
also included a lake crew. When the count arrives he also brings a
court crew with office administration personnel along with him. Almost
everything has to be entered in the books and be accounted for- every
ration of food, brick and linen tablecloth.

In the little kitchen of "Spisesalen" the kitchen staff
and maids, are assisted by the kitchen hands. Bengt the marksman has
brought game and poultry. Smoked meat and bread have to make room
for the workers who use the kitchen as dining room a few times a day.
The young maid sleeps by the stove. In "Gamla Fruntimret"
Marina the store manager looks over the linen store and in "Rullestugan"
store maids and chamber maids carry clean damask for mangling and
linen pressing. The sweep maids are cleaning the whole castle .
