Läckö Castle is full of life and activity every summer. We celebrate
midsummer with a traditional Swedish maypole on the grassy slopes
below the Palace whilst the tents of our yearly mediaeval market
are raised on the lawns in front of the main gate.

Every now and then we invite guest productions to
the Great Court, such as theatre or Jazz. Pop concerts are held every
summer on the slopes below the castle. It is a magnificent venue and
it is an unforgettable experience to watch some of Sweden's most celebrated
rock and pop artists play for thousands of fans as the sun sets over
the lake and bathes the white walls of Count de la Gardie's summer
palace in gold.
