Läckö Castle
Magnus De la Gardie's Läckö Castle is located on a headland in the Eken archipelago in Lake Vänern just outside Lidköping. Here you can visit the castle and the castle garden, go to concerts and eat at the Hvita Hjorten restaurant. At Naturum - Vänerskärgården you can learn more about the unique natural and cultural environment of Kållandsö and Lake Vänern.
Kinnekulle viewing tower
For those who like wide views, a visit to Kinnekulle's observation tower is a must. The tower is built on the top of Kinnekulle and the view is magnificent. The lookout tower is also a perfect place to start from if you want to go on some of the wonderful hiking trails on the top of Kinnekulle
Garden of Hellekis Säteri
The garden dates back a long way and was mentioned by Carl Linnaeus as early as 1746 during his Wästgöta journey. Exotic trees, perennial beds with 300 different varieties of plants and a magnificent rose garden with old-fashioned roses are among the things that should not be missed.
Lake Vänern Museum
At Vänermuseet, exciting encounters take place between art and science and between the present and the past of man and nature. Exhibitions, talks and activities for children and adults.
Rörstrand Museum and Rörstrand Museum Café
At Rörstrand Museum you can learn about the history of one of Europe's oldest porcelain factories - the crown jewel of Swedish porcelain - Rörstrand. The collections span almost three centuries, from 1726 until today. When you get the urge for a coffee, sit down in the café and be served on fine Rörstrand porcelain
