Guided tour of the castle

Delicious hospitality suites & exciting history. If you want to come here on a guided tour in the spring or autumn, you can pre-book your ticket, see the booking link further down this page. During high season, tickets are purchased at the entrance.

Our guided tours take you into the most magnificent floors of Läckö, where the wings of history are felt in the walls and ceilings. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, you will explore the parade floor with its representative rooms and hear dramatic stories about power, culture and fallen dynasties.

We start in the King's Hall - the largest room in the palace - which still bears traces of Sweden's great power era. You will get to know the De la Gardie family and their role in one of Sweden's most crucial eras. In the magnificent bedchamber of Princess Maria Eufrosyne, you will encounter the ideals of luxury, beauty and status of the time. Läckö is a unique place, where authentic furnishings from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries have been preserved for posterity and are now yours to discover.
