Dear customer/guest,

Due to the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which comes into force on 25 May 2018, we would like to inform you that we need to save and process personal data about you, such as name, telephone number and email address. This applies when booking accommodation and buying tickets digitally, for various events. The purpose of such processing is to be able to contact you in your role as a guest.

We receive information from you in connection with our ongoing work at Läckö Castle and Naturum Vänerskärgården - Victoriahuset.

We apply the privacy legislation in force at any given time to all processing of personal data.

The personal data we process about you may be used in future communications with you. However, we will never transfer your data to another operator or a country outside the EU.

The processing of personal data is of the utmost importance and all processing of personal data is done in a secure manner. Personal integrity is at the centre of the processing of personal data within the framework of Läckö Castle Foundation's activities. We take privacy and data protection issues very seriously and comply with current legislation.

We want you to feel safe when you provide us with your personal data.

We take all reasonable steps to protect your personal data.

When and how is personal data processed?

Personal data (name, telephone number and e-mail) is stored in our computer system in order for us to be able to fulfil our mission, regarding bookings of overnight stays, newsletters and the purchase of tickets for various events. This also applies to contact persons for various forms of co-operation partners. The data is deleted when it becomes obsolete.

Where we charge for courses and seminars, the invoice documents are kept in accordance with the applicable accounting rules.

Personal data (name and e-mail address) provided in connection with competitions will only be stored for as long as is necessary to select a winner. If you have subscribed to our newsletter and wish to have your data deleted, please do so at the bottom of the email you received.

When you apply for job vacancies, submit an expression of interest in employment with us, participate in surveys or wish to be contacted by us, we will use your personal data for the purpose for which you provided it.
In other situations, the information you choose to provide is recorded.

The Läckö Castle Foundation has a policy of not collecting and registering sensitive personal data. However, if you provide information about allergies and special diets, we assume that you want the information to be registered with us.

We keep statistics on the number of visits, the number of times individual pages are read, the URLs from which visitors come and the search engines and keywords used to access our website. The purpose of this is to give us an idea of how we can improve our website. Thus, we collect data on domain names, browsers and operating systems,
the time you accessed our website and where you may have linked to it from.
