Our restaurant is located in Naturum Vänerskärgården - Victoriahuset, which was completed in 2013. The house is a symbolic gift to Crown Princess Victoria on her 30th birthday and houses a restaurant kitchen, dining room, InfoPoint/reception, 15 overnight rooms, and an exhibition in Naturum Vänerskärgården. Our meals are inspired by the local surroundings. The classic cuisine, fine local produce and the unique castle garden create a common thread where the ancient Läckö Castle stands as inspiration and scene for our meal experiences.

Description of the service

We are looking for you, chef or meal creator who wants to be part of creating fantastic meal experiences with us! Are you a driven person with a genuine interest in gastronomy and a knowledge of food quality? Then this could be the right role for you!

You have a great passion for cooking and the well-being of your team. You thrive in a dynamic environment and have the ability to inspire both guests and staff in your endeavours. You are also unpretentious and ready to support in all areas of the kitchen and restaurant when needed.

As a seasonal employee with us, you will be responsible for the daily running of the kitchen together with the rest of the team. You will work closely with your colleagues and always strive to create the best possible experience for your colleagues and guests.

Your main areas of work

  • Be part of the daily running of the kitchen together with the chef and sous chef.
  • Be independent in your role
  • Ensure high quality food handling, and follow current hygiene procedures
  • Be a good and inspiring colleague who contributes to a pleasant working environment
  • Work on the basis of sustainability, local and/or organic raw materials and waste. 

Qualifications

  • Experience as a chef or in a similar gastronomic role in the catering industry
  • Experience and ability to work with menus based on sustainable, local and/or organic ingredients, which both impress and surprise our guests
  • Experience to be able to manage stress in our peak season during the summer period.
  • Quality conscious, innovative and constantly looking for improvements
  • Evening and weekend work is included in the service, with scheduling adapted to the needs of the business and the season.

Scope: 75%

Form of employment: Seasonal employment March-October with the possibility of extension.

Start date: Spring 2026, as agreed
