Experience the beautiful interior of the castle
Every day there is the opportunity to join guided tours where we show and tell about the inside and outside of the castle. Here you will see ceiling mouldings, cabinet cabinets and four-poster beds with unique, ancient details. The tour is conducted in both Swedish and English, and paints a vivid picture of the history of Läckö, starting with the residential and hospitality suites on the third floor. The tour takes approximately 40 minutes.
The history of Läckö Castle - royalty, splendour and everyday life
Behind the facades of Läckö Castle lies over 700 years of history. Bishops, feudal lords and servants have left their mark here, from the medieval castle to Magnus Gabriel De la Gardie's Baroque dream and on into the present day. Please remember to check our opening hours, parking facilities and other information that may be important for your visit. Larger groups, such as school classes or companies, can pre-book tickets for a guided tour of the castle. Sessions in Lidköping offers music and entertainment by bands and artists throughout the summer. Take the concert bus from Stadshotellet and experience the scenic surroundings of the castle area.

When visiting Lidköping, don't miss the picturesque hiking trails out on Kållandsö. Choose a hiking trail that suits you and your party or book a hiking package with associated accommodation, parking, food and drink. In connection with your hike, you can visit the castle for an exciting insight into our history.
