Based on the book Witches Cecilia takes us back to 17th-century Sweden. A time of splendour and baroque, but also of fear, witch trials and judicial abuse. In 1668, »the great uproar« began, a period when nearly 300 women lost their lives accused of witchcraft.
During the evening, we get to hear the story of one of Sweden's biggest legal scandals, presented through both powerful images and historical facts, combined with a mingle meal at Läckö Castle's courtyard.
