Läckövarvet invites you to experience running in one of Sweden's most beautiful environments. Here, history is mixed with the tranquil beauty of nature - a place where both runners and nature lovers feel at home. Whether you want to challenge yourself or just enjoy the day with family and friends, we promise a day filled with experience and joy! Choose from three distances: 2km Kids' Race, 10km Ladies, Men & Juniors or 21km Ladies, Men & Juniors.

Läckövarvet is organised in collaboration between The body lab, Jump training & adventure and Läckö Castle Foundation.

2 km - Children's race

The children's race starts at the castle and runs along a fun and natural course past the nature centre and around the pond.
Here, children run close to both water and castle, a perfect introduction to running in nature.

The finish is as magical as the setting: a lap through the moat and around the castle, before finishing in front of the castle gate.
A memorable experience, as much fun to run as to show off the medal afterwards.

The Kids' Race is for children aged 4-12

10 km - Läckö to Spiken and back

The race starts at the castle and follows the gravel road out towards Spiken, where open views and the proximity to Lake Vänern create a magnificent feeling. After a short stretch on asphalt, the course turns onto the Biosphere Trail and the Pilgrims' Trail and passes Spiken's Fishing Harbour before turning back towards the castle.

The finish passes through Roparudden, where technical terrain and cliffs meet the view of the water and the castle in the eye.

Finally - a lap through the moat and around the castle, before the finish awaits at the gate.

21 km - Around Kållandsö

The start is at the magnificent Läckö Castle. From there, a varied and varied course awaits with forest trails, gravel roads and shorter tarmac sections, with the lake, nature and the castle as constant companions.

You follow several of the island's most well-known trails - the Biosphere Trail, the Pilgrim Trail, Fröfjorden and Roparudden - and pass Spikens Fiskehamn, one of Kållandsö's most popular excursion destinations.

The final section offers the most technical terrain of the race, with cliffs and narrow paths winding along the water and the castle visible across the bay.

The finish line is approaching - one last lap through the moat and around the entire castle before crossing the finish line.
