What role do fungi play in our forests?
We start up the autumn Thursday lecture with Professor Anders Dahlberg. Anders is one of Sweden's most well-known mushroom researchers. Tonight he guides us through the fascinating world of fungi. During the lecture, he will talk about the ecology of fungi, their crucial importance for forest plants through mycorrhiza, and how forestry affects their habitats. Anders is a professor of mycology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and has been teaching fungi courses and sharing his knowledge for over 40 years.
