Journey of discovery
Join our nature educator on a fun tour of the naturum exhibition. The Väner archipelago and its animals and plants are in focus. We follow the prince and princess as they ponder what animals and plants live in our surroundings. What do they look like? How do they live?
Maximum 15 students/group. Total 40 minutes.
Small cruise safaris
With nets and magnifying glasses, we head out into the reeds. What is swimming in the water? Who is hiding under the rock? How does the water vole breathe... and what are those lumps of jelly stuck to the reed leaves? The focus here is on the joy of discovery. The visit is best combined with a visit to the exhibition.
Maximum 15 students in each group. 60 minutes in total.

Excursion to the seafront
We start by thinking about what we want to investigate. How do the bugs move? Which animals breathe with gills? Do aquatic plants have roots? In groups, we set off on an excursion along the shoreline with magnifying glasses, books and species keys at the ready. We collect some animals and plants and study them carefully under the camera in the nature centre. What did we find out? Finally, we go through the observations of the different groups.
Maximum of 15 pupils for moulding. In total about 90 minutes.
Hiking by Lake Vänern
We go on a hike and think about the geological history of the Lake Vänern archipelago, which trees thrive and what grows along the shores. The students also get to think and discuss what threats there are to Lake Vänern and its inhabitants today. Out at Roparudden we have a coffee break with the possibility of a barbecue.
Maximum 30 students. Approximately 2 hours.

Guiding Nature Centre
Join our nature educator on a tour of the naturum exhibition. The tour starts 1800 million years back in time and then we move forward. The focus here is on the Väner archipelago and its animals and plants. The birds, plants and bugs all have something to tell. Based on the exhibition, we consider what will happen to our beautiful Väner archipelago in the future.
Maximum 15 students. 60 minutes in total.
