Kitchen manager/chef

Our kitchen is located in the middle of the West Gothic soil with ingredients from our local area, the menu changes according to the season and Lilla Slottsträdgården, which is our own KRAV-certified garden. About the service
As Head Chef, you have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You'll ensure the smooth running of the kitchen through effective work planning and be responsible for ensuring the department meets its targets. You work closely with your colleagues and always strive to create the best possible experience for our guests. Reporting and working closely with the destination's Hotel and Restaurant Manager.
Your main areas of work
- Plan and organise the daily operation and staffing of the kitchen
- Purchasing and invoice management and contact with suppliers
- Develop and create new, exciting menus based on seasonality and tradition
- Calculating and controlling raw material costs to optimise kitchen profitability
- Ensure high quality of food handling and follow current hygiene procedures
- Systematic work environment management to maintain a safe and pleasant working environment
- Follow up on guest feedback and actively work to improve guest satisfaction
- Develop meals based on sustainability, local and/or organic ingredients
About you

Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a chef or in a similar management role in the catering industry
- Good knowledge of kitchen economy, raw material calculation and cost control
- Experience and ability to work on creating menus based on sustainable, local and/or organic ingredients, which both impress and surprise our guests
- Good leadership and co-operation skills
- Good knowledge in scheduling and staff planning
- Quality conscious, innovative and constantly looking for improvements
- Moon on the work environment and health of employees
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends when required. Evening and weekend work is part of the service, with scheduling adapted to the needs of the business
